FETING PHIL
Sat., Dec. 15 after Shabbat services

Please join us at a fun and festive Shabbat Kiddush luncheon in honor of our own Phil Weiser, NEW ATTORNEY GENERAL OF COLORADO!

We're so proud of the outstanding, principled campaign he successfully waged.

On Saturday, December 15th, the Kohelet Board will sponsor a Kiddush lunch celebrating Phil (and his supportive and loving family).

Hope to see you there!

ENHANCED SECURITY

As many of you know, in order to enhance security we have installed a new lock with a passcode.  The passcode is for members only.  In order to get the passcode, please knock on door next time you are at services.  When someone lets you in, ask that person the passcode.  If you want the passcode and it is not Shabbat, you can contact Dan Savin by phone at 303-929-5560 and he will give you the code.

For questions, email Joel B. or Joan B.

UPDATED ROSTER

Please take a look at the attached roster.  If you see mistakes or need for additions, please email Eliza at admin@kohelet.org.  Please note: we decided arbitrarily not to include the birthdays of adult children of members if they were born before 1990.  If you want the birthday of your child born before 1990 to be included, please let Eliza know and we can include it.

CHRISTMAS DAY MITZVAH
Tues., Dec. 25, 8 a.m.

Interested in participating in a wonderful Christmas Day mitzvah?  Bennett Parnes has the perfect project for you!

Bennett has a warm, personal contact with Lowry Community Church (a traditional African American church) which cooks, packages, and delivers hot meals to 1500 homeless people in the Denver area on Christmas Day.  The church needs and would very much welcome Kohelet's help with this.  This commitment is on Christmas morning, from 8 a.m. til noon or 1 p.m.  It is perfect for families to do together.  If you are interested (or have questions), please email Bennett, parnesb@gmail.com, so that he will have an idea of numbers.
