A Commemorative Service to celebrate the life of former Denver resident, Mrs. Cookie (Roberta) Rosenbaum, will be held on Wednesday December 26 at the Jewish Experience Center (399 S. Monaco Pkwy) from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
Cookie passed away at her home in Beer Sheva on Nov. 25th, with her husband Rabbi Donny and daughter Chani Tumbel at her bedside. JANET BRANDT UPDATE
Dearest Kohelet,
Mom (Janet Brandt) is starting to settle in to her new home at Cohen-Rosen House in Rockville, Maryland. We are beyond grateful for all of your support over the past months and years, especially Misty and Ed Davidson for the beautiful memory book and shabbat kiddush, Betty Mitchell for making a whirlwind trip to bring mom to MD (and Bennett and Molly for sharing Betty with us for 24 hours), and everyone who recommended professional services, help with moving, and all of the other offers of support during these last couple of weeks.
If anyone would like to write to Janet, please send letters/notes to her in my care -
Ariel Brandt Lautman
8606 Leonard Dr.
Silver Spring, MD 20910
She would also love video messages, which you can send to me via SMS (303-514-9235) or email (ariel@brandtlautman.com), and I will make sure she gets them.
Much love,
Reuben, Rachel, Dan, Ezra & Amalia

THANK YOU FROM PHIL AND HEIDI
Dear Kohelet Communtiy,
We were so moved and appreciative of the turnout, support, and energy at Kohelet last week for the oneg in honor of my election as Attorney General. The Board--and Robyn in particular--did a spectacular job of preparing a special event. As I said--and as Daniel said in his wonderful talk--Kohelet was a big part of my election. Thank you all for being there for us along the way. You have shown us Kohelet at its very best!
Happy New Year!
Phil and Heidi

CHRISTMAS MITZVAH FOLLOW UP
The Lowry Community Church organized preparation and delivery of over 100 hot meals to homeless people on Chismas morning. Thnanks to 20 people from Kohelet who participated in this Mirzvah. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and being part of this great project. The Lowry Community Church repeats this every Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Looking forward to another gathering of Kohelet folks on April 21.
